Notes on Art in the Back Room

"Let Kingdom Come" is a portrait of the many faces of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. that was created around 1980.  Paul attended the March on Washington in 1963 and was deeply impacted by the man and his message as well as the overwhelming outpouring of humanity that gathered at that historic event.

"Kente Connection" was commissed by the Kente Cultural Organization in New London, CT in 2007.  A limited edition giclee was published to enable the organization to raise funds for programing.  Visit their website @ www.kentecultural.org to learn more.  Click here to read the artist's narrative on this piece.

"Dancer & the Piano Tickler" is a an oil painting on canvas, created in 2008 and is available for sale.  Call Color Circle Art for current pricing at 617-437-1260.

"Haitian Sea" oil on board was created when Paul journeyed to Haiti and came in contact with legendary artist, Lois Mailou Jones, who welcomed him into her home, studio and favorite places to paint in Haiti.  During his eight-month stay there they developed a strong artistic bond.  The original painting is in a private collection.
