ONLINE AUCTION TO BENEFIT ROXBURY COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Blues in the 'Bury© is a celebration of CJAS Productions and is part of the "In The 'Bury©" cultural initiative for Roxbury Community College Foundation.
The overall mission of the project is to remind the city of Boston and beyond that the Black Community is alive and well and still creatively kicking;  to remind the Black Community, particularly the young people, of its own genius; to raise sufficient funds to continue to regularly stage relevant and positive cultural events during the coming months and years; and to raise funds for the Roxbury Community College Foundation and other deserving organizations serving the community.

The Kuumba Singers of Harvard College, founded in 1970 to celebrate the creativity and spirituality of black culture and today one of New England’s premiere college choirs, hosts the 11th Annual Dr Walter J Leonard Black Arts Festival (BAF). 


The festival will take place from Thursday, March 6th, 2008, to Sunday, March 9th, 2008.  The four-day celebration features various workshops, performances, and displays of artwork, graphic media, film, dance, spokenword, music, acting, and screenwriting highlighting the creative contributions of talented and distinguished artists, paying tribute to the African Diaspora.

WineDown Accessories will launch their latest tile offerings based on Mr. Goodnight's latest series called "No Strings Attached". Mr. Goodnight will be on hand to meet and autograph tiles featured in this exciting series offered by WineDown on Saturday, February 9th from 2:00PM to 5:00PM at the WineDown booth #234.
